Keynote Speaker – Tameka Montgomery
Appointed to the position of Associate Administrator of the Office of Entrepreneurial Development at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) in 2013, Tameka Montgomery manages the agency’s counseling and training programs which serve more than 1.5 million entrepreneurs and small businesses nationwide. She oversees entrepreneurial program development and implementation within SBA’s Office of Small Business Development Centers, the Office of Women’s Business Ownership, and the Office of Entrepreneurship Education. Montgomery holds a bachelor’s degree from Spelman College and a master’s degree of public administration from Columbia University. In May 2012, Johnson & Wales University conferred upon Montgomery an honorary doctorate of business administration in entrepreneurship.
