Sencommunications is celebrating their 30th year in business this year and is consistently ranked as a "Top Woman Owned Business" by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. Tricia Ricke, VP and CFO for Federal Contracts Corp, a service-disabled owned, hubzone certified company providing heavy equipment, through rent or purchase, to federal agencies for over 15 years. Mercedes Young, CEO, Vivid Consulting Group: Mercedes is the majority owner of a Tampa-based civil engineering/surveying company. Currently, her company has made great gains in the energy vertical, mostly serving as a sub-contractor to some very recognizable companies in that sector. Her passion for excellence in serving others has led her to numerous organizational leadership roles: She currently provides direction as Chairwoman, American Association of Blacks in Energy; serves as the Chairwoman and Trustee for the Latin Chamber of Commerce; and Chairwoman, National Association of Black Women in Construction. Vivid Consulting Group is known for its tenacious drive to continued growth. Moderator: Lauren Weiner, President of Wittenberg Weiner Consulting was recently awarded the largest contract to a women-owned business in the history of the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), making WWC one of the largest government contracting firms in the Tampa Bay region. Under two different Presidential administrations, she oversaw policy development, implementation and performance assessment for multiple Federal agencies.
