Early bird registration for Government Conference extended through April 21
A National Small Business Week event
TAMPA (April 14, 2017) – The Florida SBDC at University of South Florida has extended the early bird registration rate for the 30th Annual Government Small Business Conference, until Friday, April 21. The event will be held on Friday, May 5, at Holiday Inn Westshore, Tampa.
This is a National Small Business Week event. Registration is now open at SBDCTampaBay.com/gsbc2017.
The 30th Annual Government Small Business Conference: Game Plan for Federal Contracting, is a unique conference for small business owners to learn how to optimize business opportunities through informative workshops, panel discussions, and a Business Opportunity Expo featuring federal agencies.
Workshops and panel topics include: Cybersecurity Requirements for Small Business Federal Contractors (Opening Keynote Address); 10 Steps to Becoming a Federal Contractor One Percenter; DCAA Overview and Resources Available for Small Businesses; SBA Mentor Protégé program; and Doing Business with DoD. In addition to workshops and panel discussions, the afternoon will feature a Small Business Awards luncheon, with keynote speeches from Troy Taylor, Chairman and CEO, Coca-Cola Beverages Florida; and Gregory Celestan, Chairman and CEO, Celestar Corporation. The Business Opportunity Expo will open at 1:30 p.m.
Cost is currently $149. Price increases to $225 after April 21.
